My iPod shuffle loves *Nsync

I do not have a legitimate iPod. I have a shuffle - for 2 reasons. 1.) It’s small and convenient. 2.) My sister gave it to me after they won it at a Safeway grand opening.
Nonetheless, I have kept the same songs on the glorified jump drive since I have gotten it because I am too lazy to change the content on it. The bad thing about it is that it’s a shuffle, and you really can’t “pick” the songs you listen to.
I only use it at the gym and I tend to fast forward through a lot of the songs.
For some reason, my shuffle really likes playing Pop by *Nsync in its shuffle rotation.
It kind of gets annoying.
Has it really been seven years since this song was released?
Damn.
