If this doesn’t make you a Japanophile or a fan of the Wachowski duo, then I don’t know what will…
I have no knowledge of Speed Racer besides the fact that it was a cartoon. Besides that, a long time ago, I heard this one remix of a song that simulated Speed and Trixie engaged in intercourse. It remixed snippets of the cartoon to make it sound like they were fornicating. There was heavy panting. Groans. Trixie yelling, “Faster!” It was pretty hot.
But the movie looks UNBELIEVABLY FUN!
Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Matthew Fox look like anime characters brought to life. It’s kind of surreal.
