Obviously not.
Why is this work week moving at a glacial pace?
I feel like boring my eyes out. And I think I need to stop smoking.
Anyways, this week is jam-packed…mostly the tail-end. There’s a VIP dinner with acclaimed designers James Galanos and Ralph Rucci. I am sure I will make a fool out of myself sometime during that dinner, so I will keep you posted on that.
I plan on wearing this suit I got tailored with a new shirt I bought from Zara this weekend.
Speaking of my tailored suit, I am becoming wary about it. I fear that it doesn’t fit me well enough – but my Italian tailor insists that it’s perfect. But I don’t feel 100 percent comfortable in it. I think I might get a second opinion.
So I have that dinner then on Friday I am going to the AAU graduation fashion show. That should be fun. My sister and her friend Joann are taking advantage of my pull as a SF Bay Area D-list celebrity. I wouldn’t even consider myself a celebrity – more like a face that people see at high profile events and say, “Who is that third world country boy dressed nicely?”
On Saturday, I am going to the Discarded to Divine fashion show. And mind you, I was a part of the jury that judged the garments.
I also have a meeting with the West Coast Editor of DNR, a fashion trade publication that I am freelancing for. Actually, I don’t consider myself freelancing for them YET. Until I see my name in print in DNR, I don’t consider myself a freelancer for them.
