I think Augusten Burroughs is officially my favorite writer. I can’t believe I devoured this book in three days. Maybe it’s because I’ve been riding BART a lot. It gives me plenty of time to read and look literate whilst heading into San Francisco and avoiding eye contact with other passengers.

This totally makes up for the Running with Scissors movie. Sorry, Augusten, I LOVED the book and I really tried to like that film adaptation – but it wasn’t working for me.

But this book has me LOL’ing all over the place.
