I really like lesbians…

Lesbians are probably the nicest people in the world - this is based on the lesbian couple I sat next to at the GLAAD Awards and, of course, the Indigo Girls.
The reasoning for this (according to me) is because it’s two women. It’s embedded in nature that women are more nurturing, maternal and just plain nice. And if you put two of them together, the feminine prowess is doubled. This is even for the really butch ones.
As for gay guys…I don’t know. For the most part, they are nice - at least the mature ones are. I don’t think I play that well with other gays, maybe it’s because I am scared of some them - mostly the flamboyant ones. Or maybe it just stems to the fact that I just don’t like people. Well, I don’t like annoying people.
…don’t get me wrong, I enjoy gay people - male or female.
Back to gay guys, I think I have come to the conclusion where a gay guy must cross a certain threshold where he becomes a gay man. Before that, it’s just a bunch of hooking up via Craigslist ads, dancing with angel wings to sparkling techno music drenched in pixie dust, saying the word “girlfriend” a lot, saying every single guy is “hot” - among other things.
When a gay guy crosses that threshold, he becomes a gentleman. He’s serious about his career, he’s cultured, he likes Madonna but doesn’t wear her concert tees, he likes techno music but would rather hear it on his iPod rather than at an rainbow-soaked night club. In a word, he’s mature.
Actually, I think I just named some of the attributes of my ideal guy.
