I’ve been watching…

I haven’t watched any first-run movies lately, but I have been getting well-acquainted with my DVD player and nostalgic entertainment…

Why did I wait until 2008 to watch this show? I’ve been meaning to buy the first season of this show without having ever seen one episode in my life. People were telling me how great of a show it was so when I saw season one on sale at Target for $18.99, I impulsively put it in my basket alongside this DVD:

It was only $5 at Target – how could I not buy this marvelously piece of ’80s nostalgia complete with Elisabeth Shue wearing a nice selection of headbands and waspy pleated skirts – not to mention the ultimate ’80s bully William Zabka. I have a lot to say about this movie, but I will get to it later.

Did anyone think Andrea Zuckerman was hot? I bet you out of all the 90210 gals, she was the freakiest. Anyways, with the 90210 “spin off” about to hit television screens soon, I thought I would dust off the first season of this melodramatic teen show full of sideburns and Blossom hats. I have a lot to say about this as well so stay tuned…

I have been reading…

I haven’t found a book to my liking as of late. Actually, I have just been too lazy to start a book.

There was this funny spread showcasing some of the best comedians of our generation – but the interview with Seth Rogen wasn’t really captivating me – maybe it’s because I was on BART trying to read it while holding my breath because of a phantom body odor plaguing the car.

Besides a really lame sneak-peek picture of the new 90210 spin-off, there was this article about how brilliant “The Dark Knight” was.

I’ve been writing…

Anything on my S.F. Examiner page.

I really need to start a new writing project soon.
