The highlight of my trip to New York Fashion Week
Sep 9th, 2008 by dino-ray
The highlight to my trip to New York Fashion Week wasn’t a fabulous show nor was it a celebrity sighting. In fact, it wasn’t even in New York. It was in the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The highlight of my trip was my dining experience at Pappadeaux in the Continental Airlines terminal.

Ever since I left Texas I dream of eating the Cajun cuisine of this restaurant. So every time I get the chance to eat here, I jump on the opportunity with a vengeance. So when I saw the sign for Pappadeaux when I walked through the gate to endure a 2 hour layover, I smiled and praised God. I immediately went into the restaurant and ordered the Blackened Oyster and Shrimp Fondeaux.

They also offered a buffet, but I thought that would be a little too much.
And when I had a layover on the way back to San Francisco, I went again and ate the Crawfish Etouffee.
And that ladies and gentleman, was the highlight of my trip to New York.
Thank you.
sweet jesus.
