My first day as a teacher

Today was my first day of teaching Fashion Journalism at the Academy of Art University and I think I was a total spazz – okay, maybe not TOTALLY, but perhaps partially.

I was uber-nervous that the students were going to hate me and walk all over me, but they were really cool – and I’m just not saying this because they will probably be reading this blog (Hi Students!)

Now that the first class is done (actually, it’s the second class – it’s a long story), I think I may be comfortable enough to make the class into my own little reality show. Each week a student will be eliminated and one will be AAU’s Next Top Fashion Journalist.

And even though BART was hellaciously crowded on the way home, I was recognized by someone in the station. Some girl randomly came up to me and asked, “Are you Dino-Ray Ramos?” and I said, “Yes.” And she said, “I read both your blogs!”

She was so sweet and I felt so popular! I am so glad that readers out there actually like me!

And to top off the day, GOSSIP GIRL is on! Oh happy day! Let us rejoice and be glad!
