On Christmas Day, I made some cupcakes. I, along with my sister decided to get creative with them. I thought it would be a good idea to decorate them - but there couldn’t be two identical cupcakes in the batch.
My sister scoured her pantry to see what we could plop on these cakes: sprinkles, Pocky, [...]

Singing along with the ‘Sound of Music’
Posted in Film, Movies, Musical, Pop Culture, San Francisco, Video on Dec 31st, 2008
Last night, I celebrated one of the final days of 2008 by going to a Sound of Music sing along at the Castro Theater in SF. I thought I would be annoyed by all the obnoxiousness, but I was more than happy to contribute to the obnoxious level by singing loudly and doing unnecessary harmonizing.

Random quote of the moment
Posted in How I Met Your Mother, Pop Culture, Quotes, Television on Dec 28th, 2008
Okay, in case you didn’t know, I am just now jumping on the whole How I Met Your Mother bandwagon.
This is, in fact, the greatest show ever. Well, until I find another obsession. But for real - I am so diggin’ this show. I just finished all three seasons within a week and a [...]
Have a finer dandy Christmas!
Posted in Christmas, Music, Pop Culture, Video on Dec 25th, 2008
I already posted this on my Examiner.com site, but it is just that awesome to post again…
To all my loyal readers - I would like to give you this special gift for the Yuletide season…
I know, I know, Johnathan Knight isn’t there, but c’mon - Jordan shirtless under a shimmery disco ball letterman’s jacket? [...]

…most likely before you.
Yes, that is quite braggy of me, but it is one of the perks of being “press.” If you are rolling your eyes - just think of it this way: perks don’t pay the bills. They just pay the creative soul of inspiration.
Was that quote lame enough for you?
Anyways, I just [...]
Late night Tuesday thoughts: Prostitutes
Posted in Random on Dec 16th, 2008
You know how everyone is saying we are in some sort of economic crisis? Well, I am just wondering if prostitutes are being affected by this whole ordeal. I mean, do people still look for some street-quality casual sex? Or are they cutting back? And does this make prostitutes lower their rates?
I wonder…
Yeah, I haven’t been here in a while. But here’s something that prompted me to post. Enjoy:
kob (pronounced ‘kahb’ as in corn on the cob, but spelled with a “k”): Kind of boyfriend; 1.) a male person who one is dating, but still is unsure if he/she should solidify the partnership as a “committed relationship.” Example: My kob and I are just going to a movie and dinner tonight. I like [...]
The Lonely Island likes to ‘Jizz in their pants’

There’s nothing like a good song about jizz to make you laugh.
Hopefully it won’t get played out like that “Dick in the Box” stuff. Because jizzing erratically is far more exciting than a schlong in a container. Plus, there are models in the video…and Justin Timberlake.
I am trying to figure out the perfect comparison to [...]
Tim Gunn remembered me!!!
Posted in Celebrities, Pop Culture, Project Runway, Tim Gunn, Work, Writing on Dec 10th, 2008
On Monday, I interviewed Tim Gunn at Macy’s in San Francisco - it was way calmer than when I did the whole Paris Hilton event.
Apparently, when I walked in for the interviewed, Mr. Gunn remembered me from a couple of fashion weeks ago when I met him after a Tracy Reese show! I felt so [...]
