Okay, this is not really a different version of the movie, but it sure as hell is funny. For die hard G.I. Joe folks, this Ballad of G.I. Joe is quite heart-warming. They’ll appreciate the Dreadnocks and all of the wonderful references to the beloved cartoon.

And if you notice, this is quite star-studded: Alexis Bledel as Lady Jaye, Julianne Moore as Scarlett, Olivia Wilde as The Baroness, Billy Crudup as Zartan, Zach Galifianakis as Snow Job (I chuckle every time I hear that name) and Tony Hale as Dr. Mindbender.

And the best part of the whole thing? The Baroness and Destro’s clarinet breakdown. It’s really magical.
