You may have noticed that I have departed from the whole Mad Men avatar banner and have moved on to poor quality photos taken with my Blackberry.
This past weekend, my friends Jaimee and Christian paid me a visit and while walking them around the wonderful of San Francisco, we found a couple of treasures scattered about the city.
The first is pictured in the banner and is part of this whole:
It’s a Dionne Warwick cassette tape that was found near the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Yes, you heard that right – a CASSETTE tape. I felt that this was a magical moment of nostalgia. Why someone would throw this Warwick masterpiece out, I don’t know.
Then, we found this:
This is classy. I love it when malt liquor is mixed with a place called “Palace of Fine Arts.”
These are the two best things I have ever discovered in the city.
