Jay-Z knows his fashion labels

Wasn’t it funny how Lil Mama made a fool of herself on Sunday night when she had the bright idea to hop on stage while Jay-Z and Alicia Keys at the VMAs?
With that out of the way, I have been dissecting his latest tune, “Run This Town” featuring Rihanna and Kanye “I keep on apologizing for stupid things I do” West. All I have to say is that any rapper that can smoothly fit in the words Maison Martin Margiela into his lyrical arsenal is a genius (fast forward to timestamp 2:37ish):
…and P.S. Jay-Z has been seen on more than one occasion wearing Lanvin sneakers. Hova knows that fashion goes beyond Sean John and Phat Farm.
