U2 and Jay-Z have a ‘Bloody Sunday’

I was actually kinda nervous about the Jay-Z and U2 collabo at the MTV European Music Awards, but after Hova got into the groove with Bono and company, it made perfect sense:
I must admit, there was a moment where I was expecting Lil’ Mama to jump up on the stage.
Nonetheless – why does Jay-Z make everything work? He could probably jump up on stage during a production of Phantom of the Opera and spit some lyrics and rock the hell out of it.
