No, it’s not that kind of ho-down (it’s not that kind of ho-down either).

On Thursday December 3rd, San Francisco will play host to the Handmade Ho Down, a DIY fest with an Etsy edge (who just so happens to be a sponsor). The event will shopping event will have plenty of wares like clothing, jewelry and other treasures made by the hands of local artisans.
To be honest, I’m always wary about craftsy fairs like this – but this one promises to be pretty cool. And with Etsy backing them, it kind of gives it more of that urban appeal. Plus, it has the word “Ho” in it. That makes me giggle with high brow immaturity.
With the holidays coming up, it might be a good opportunity to support local artisans and snag some one-of-a-kind items for gifts.
