The kick ass trailer for Kick-Ass has been making its rounds on the Internet like a case of crabs in a discount whore house – and I say that in the sweetest way.


So why should you watch this?

1.) It’s an ironic portrayal of superheroes (based on the comic book series) under the direction of Matthew Vaughn (he did Layer Cake)

2.) It has the brilliantly blunt sister seen in (500) Days of Summer (Chloe Moretz) who could possibly be Ellen Page 2.0.

3.) Finally, a movie where we don’t have to take Nicolas Cage too seriously.

4.) McLovin.

5.) Red band trailers are always good.

6.) Based on the kinetically crazy stunts and weapon play, the title is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
