Boone! Claire! Charlie! Rose! Bernard! Australian stewardess homegirl!
It was a throwback evening for Lost – and it was great to see familiar faces – but what the hell happened to Boone’s homegirl? The one played by Maggie Grace?
Anyway, it was great to see the old gang tonight. It was also great to see that they introduced a whole new mythological setting for us to chew on: a Mayan-like temple that features an Asian guy in charge who “hates the taste of English on his tongue.”
Way to keep it real bro.
I am not even going to attempt to analyze this episode but I will list things that stood out to me:
1.) Sun’s dowdy hairstyle.
2.) Humming the lyrics to “You All Everybody” by Driveshaft when Charlie popped up on the screen.
3.) Getting the chance to admire the VW vans with the Dharma Initiative logo on the front.
4.) Seeing Rose and Bernard again.
5.) Thinking that the scene on the plane between Jack and Desmond was kind of like two gay guys hitting on each other.
6.) Juliet’s dramatic death (y’all should’ve seen that one coming already)
7.) Jack’s hair – it seemed quite dapper in this episode.
8.) The 10 seconds we saw Claire on screen.
9.) The pool of healing Arizona Iced Tea in the temple.
10.) The translator who looked like a yoga instructor.
11.) Every time Evangeline Lilly was in a scene, I expected her to bust out with a L’Oreal Paris product endorsement segment.
12.) Hearing Hugo say, “dude” again makes me feel safe and loved.
And finally, the hype surrounding the beginning of the end prompted me to pull out this throwback photo of me, my friends and the other castaways:
Can you find me?
