madonna

I rushed home after a screening of The Losers to watch the anticipated “Power of Madonna” episode of Glee.

As I was jamming out to classic and contemporary songs by Madge with all the other gays and outcast teens the world over, my heart sank at the final minutes of the episode. The climactic performance of Madonna’s burning cross opus, “Like a Prayer” was getting ready to erupt and it cut off.

It was as though someone stole my lunch money and then kicked me in the nards.

Normally, I would shake it off, but I was really pissed. I even Tweeted, “I feel like shooting someone.”

It’s that serious – mainly because it is Glee. And I knew this episode would make up for last week’s low key premiere.

Apparently, the DVR cut off of Glee was caused by American Idol spilling over its allotted time slot. I am now watching the DVR’d episode of the latter with a scowl as that boy who looks like Ma’am from Webster sings “I Believe I Can Fly.”

Painful.

Now I have to wait until I can download the episode on iTunes or watch it on Hulu. My life is so tough.

Did this travesty happen to anyone else?
