Usually, when going to a fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, you fear the dreaded “S” card — which means standing room only. It happens to the best of us. Actually, it only happens to those who are not cool enough.
You can only imagine my ghastly expression when I got my seating assignment for the Andrew Buckler presentation via the new, sophisticated bar code system at the new, sophisticated Fashion Week venue of Lincoln Center:

Yes, I got standing room. I am used to it.
What I didn’t realize was that this was a presentation, not a full-on runway show. This means that models just stand there like live mannequins while people actually have time to admire the clothing.
