First off, I must say that it’s about time that TV Kahuna Michael Ausiello got his own online home. His site, TV Line is looking quite good.
That said, I learned that my hero, J.J. Abrams has his eyes on starting a Pulp Fiction-esque show. It’s not going to be exactly like the Tarantino opus that is the source of cinephile arousal. It’s going to be Pulp Fiction-ESQUE. According to TV Line: “Sources confirm to me exclusively that J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot is developing Pulp, an hour-long crime drama set in a slightly heightened reality, a-la Pulp Fiction.”
Again, it is PULP FICTION-ESQUE.
Nonetheless, I caught this on my Facebook and of course and I have to tip my hat to Catalina Candela (whoever she is) because of her brilliant request:
If anything, there should be some sort of reunion at Kelvin Hall. There can even be a party at Epstein Bar and Julie can play “Puddle of Grace” for old time’s sake.
