As you may know, [amazon_link id="B000WQ9UA8" target="_blank" ]Britney[/amazon_link] released her new pulsating electronic single “Hold it Against Me” last week to kick off the promo push for her new album dropping in March.
My musically omniscient friend Zaid, informed me that the popular gay-friendly glittery synthesized dance beats combined with the sounds of heavy machinery is reminiscent of something called “dubstep” — which has finally reached the mainstream and therefore diluted and derivative.
But the real test of this song’s coolness is whether or not I can run 5 miles to it — and it passes with fist pumping auto-tuned brilliance.
