I don’t remember the exact time when I watched Kate’s Secret. I do remember that it was a cinematic masterpiece that cemented Meredith Baxter-Birney as a juggernaut actress of the “Lifetime Movie of the Week” variety.

I have been spreading the joy of the classic film where she plays Kate, a woman with bulimia who has an affinity for gorgeous fringed shawls and peach-hued over-sized sweaters paired with nude colored hose.

On so many levels, Kate’s Secret was the Black Swan of its time. She’s a tortured soul. She’s delusional…and, well, it’s just damn crazy.
