You may have noticed that I didn’t do my normal Monday “Workout Song of the Week” post — it’s because I have been busy traipsing around Austin for South by Southwest and my lack of sleep has made me lazy. Therefore, I have not been working out…but that is neither here nor there.
Nonetheless, if you have been following my Tumblr or Twitter account, you may have seen some documentation of my fleeting SXSW adventures.
One of the highlights included the Red Bull Thre3style concert that included a “dope” lineup: De La Soul, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Q-Bert, Z-Trip and a surprise appearance from an uber swole and ripped L.L. “NCIS: Los Angeles” Cool J. Check out a snippet of his “special” performance the seminal hip-hop ballad, “I Need Love”:
I enjoyed it…even though he dedicated an Alabama anthem to a Texan audience.
