In Nicki Minaj‘s latest single, “Stupid Hoe”, she sticks to her absurdist hip-hop aesthetic set to a bunch of hand claps and 8-bit video game blips — and contrary to what I first thought, the song is not about her disdain for the gardening arts.
The first single off her second album, “Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded” (in stores in early February) is full of her trademark cutesy braggadocious rhymes and right out the gate she seems to take a stab at a fellow female M.C. that begins with an “L” and ends in “-il’ Kim”:
