According to my iPod Shuffle, “Bonfire” by Childish Gambino received the most plays (158 FULL plays to be exact) during my sessions of stampeding runs along the Embarcadero and my abridged version of P90X workouts. I don’t know how accurate my iPod Shuffle is when it comes to the number of plays, but I am glad that Mr. Gambino’s clever wordplay and angry spitfire of lyricism made it to the top of the list. Considering this song started to be in heavy rotation in September, I am quite impressed that I played it numerous times during my time at the gym. I think it’s the Human Centipede reference that made me put it on repeat.
