Many people have said that The Godfather 2 is the best in sequel ever created — many people say it’s the best in the franchise. All I know is that it is WAY better than Twilight: New Moon.
In any case, a restored version of the iconic movie is being re-released and presented in XD for ONE NIGHT ONLY on April 19 in theaters across the country. They are calling this the “Coppola Restoration” of the film in honor of its 40th Anniversary. The film has seen a considerable makeover complete with 5.1 digital surround sound and re-mastered using state-of-the-art technology — all under the watchful eye of director Francis Ford Coppola and his homies archivist Robert Harris and cinematographer Gordon Willis.
…and don’t worry. There is no 3D involved.
