It’s pretty safe to say that the Marlon Wayans of Wayans family fame have a pretty firm grasp of comedy. With a legacy of movies like I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, Scary Movie, and White Chicks as well as the iconic sketch show In Living Color, his family have pretty much stayed in the limelight of comedy, spoofs, and parodies. It was only a matter of time before they tackled the “paranormal” genre. With A Haunted House, Marlon Wayans works his comedy chops and summons some enjoyably inappropriate humor to further prove that he still have the skills to skewer anything relevant in pop culture. I had the opportunity to talk with him about going to scary movies, improv, his comedy influences, and my foot attire.

A Haunted House opens in theaters Friday, January 11.
