Roman Coppola‘s A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III is exactly what the title says: a glimpse into the mind of a gentleman named Charles Swan (played by Charlie Sheen. What the title doesn’t tell you is that we are swirling around in the head of a graphic artist after he breaks up with his girlfriend. The result is a surreal piece of work that shows us Mr. Swan’s quirky roster of friends and how sees the world while coping with his broken heart. I had the chance to chat with Roman Coppola about this whimsical world and the state of original story telling in cinema:
