The beginning of this clip takes place in the early stages of Making the Band before Danity Kane was officially formed. Diddy was on a power trip and cutting people left and right (not literally, but from the group) based on their dancing abilities. He basically tells a bunch of Black and Latina DK hopefuls that if you can’t dance, then you’re a disgrace to your culture. That has to be prejudice or racist in one way or another, right?
Another good quote from this clip is when choreographer tells the illustrious Aubrey, “Stop looking at him like he’s a steak.” In this case, “him” is Diddy. As a result, Diddy praises her for her dancing skills. I guess Diddy likes to be looked at as if he was a slab of beef.
