I was so excited about this movie that I couldn’t hold it in. I wanted to share my excitement with the world. So I did what any normal person would do: I posted the trailer on my Facebook wall and this was the result: Please don’t ruin the movie for me. I haven’t watched it yet. I was too busy watching the brilliant mess that is The Bachelorette and the season finale of True Beauty. The Client List will make a great bed time story.
The other day, I was chatting with my office mate, Hersha and for some reason, this TV show from the ’80s came randomly popped into my head: Nancy Glass. Linda Dano. The names themselves strike horror into my soul. Shown on Lifetime Television, Attitudes was like watching Tess McGill give us pointers on how to be a powerful shoulder padded woman in the ’80s but a lot more annoying and with lot more fake laughing and winking. Believe it or not, this show was pretty darn cool back in the day – mainly because Linda Dano donned Thierry Mugler more often than not (she’s wearing one a Mugler suit in the clip above). Hersha even told me that Dano was kinda considered a fashion icon back in the day. As for that disgusting red striped concoction that Nancy Glass is wearing, I have no idea what that’s all about. I am just glad that I remember the most important things from my past.

I love Tim, Heidi and company, but as each season passes, I am losing interest in Project Runway. It has lost novelty and I miss the days of Austin Scarlett and Jay McCarroll poking fun at Wendy Pepper. Even so, I feel as though I have a sense of responsibility to watch the show. Now in its 7th season, the show still outdoes those poor excuses for fashion reality shows on Bravo (i.e. Launch My Line) – and it has improved a tad bit since it moved back to New York (that L.A. season brought a whole new meaning to lame). Nonetheless, this season is just “eh” – BUT – I am always waiting to hear what the sassy Southerner, Anthony has to say. He seems genuine, has a “snap-snap” attitude and he has the most personality from the whole bunch. Although his fashion skills leave much to be desired, he makes the show entertaining. I would love to see him in a reality show with Atlanta housewife, NeNe.
