Now in its 7th season, the show still outdoes those poor excuses for fashion reality shows on Bravo (i.e. Launch My Line) – and it has improved a tad bit since it moved back to New York (that L.A. season brought a whole new meaning to lame).

Nonetheless, this season is just “eh” – BUT – I am always waiting to hear what the sassy Southerner, Anthony has to say. He seems genuine, has a “snap-snap” attitude and he has the most personality from the whole bunch.

Although his fashion skills leave much to be desired, he makes the show entertaining.

I would love to see him in a reality show with Atlanta housewife, NeNe.

Yawn.

Project Runway made me realize that you can sleep with your eyes open and this most recent season of ABDC was uninspiring and gimmicky (can we say “Vogue Evolution”?)

Over all, it’s Bravo TV that wins the prize for the most unentertaining television of the year (with the exception of Top Chef and maybe Real Housewives of Atlanta – I love me some Nene). The main source of their curdled spoilage of reality TV was their overly-desperate attempt to replace Project Runway. Fashion Show was a colossal failure; and just when you thought they couldn’t get any worse, they made the ultimate slap in the face to real designers called Launch My Line.

Vomit.

At one time, Bravo was my touchstone for good and fresh TV. Now it is turning into trashy drivel. They really need to regroup and think of a tasteful lineup of shows that gives them some cred.

*French Vogue stirs the controversy pot with some blackface nonsense. Carine Roitfeld better watch her back.

*Barack Obama visits San Francisco and we welcome him with open protests.

*Miley Cyrus deletes her Twitter account and, in turn, makes me appreciate Jamie Foxx’s radio show from a couple months ago even more.

* Jane Lynch on Glee. Nuff said.

*“No Air” on Glee. Again – nuff said.

*Mia Michaels is dumping So You Think You Can Dance?! So does that mean no more squinty-eyed hippy-drawled critiques?

*Check out some of the fancy stuff from the Union Design Festival – and it doesn’t look like it was made at an arts and crafts camp!

*Project Runway 6 pulls in Bob Mackie and Christina Aguilera – and I am still not entertained.

*Speaking of Pro-Run, Christian Siriano pays a visit to San Francisco, but is too much of a hot tranny mess to cross the Golden Gate Bridge.

*Kanye West’s Pastelle fashion line will never come to a store near you. Oh darn. Guess we’ll have to find venetian blind sunglasses somewhere else.

*The 20th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake is this Saturday, leading people to believe that another big one will hit soon. Hopefully not next week – I have an appointment at Burke Williams.

I don’t know if I should laugh or be utterly ashamed.

Top Chef: Of course, the sexiest foodie on the face of the Earth Padma Laksmi represents as the host. On Top Chef Masters Korean American Kelly Choi makes it hot as the host – yet another hottie – but I still think Padma is a bit hotter. Sorry Kelly. On the contestant front, Preeti Mistry represents the Indian-Americans like the hot host.

Project Runway: The “at one with the universe” Malvin Vien represented the Asian Americans but perhaps he was a bit too avant garde for his own good. He and his lopsided coif got “auf’d” last week.

Why does this picture scare me? It’s like a really bad senior picture from the mid-90s.

The Mentalist: Tim Kang. I don’t watch the show but Lenee gave me this tip – and she is MORE than a reliable source.

Unfortunately, there were no Asians in Inglorious Basterds (at least I didn’t see any) – and that may be a good thing depending on how you look at it.
